The food at El Tejar & Spa was absolutely outstanding. During my month-long bike exploration of the Canary Islands, I tasted some incredible dishes, but nothing compared to the delicious breakfast and dinner served at this hotel. And let's not forget about the local house red wine, which was simply divine. What made the dining experience even more memorable was the exceptional staff, especially the remarkable chef who also managed the front desk. She took the time to provide wonderful local recommendations and even helped us with bus schedules.
There were a few downsides that I must mention. The internet connection in our room was extremely poor, with the WiFi device located in the hallway.

The hotel's location is unbeatable, it's near the coast, the overcrowded southern shore, the airport, and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It's relatively close to Restaurante Hermano Pedro, where I enjoyed a meal once or twice.
